1. Сut the onions into rings about 1/3 of an inch thick
2. Prepare breading by combining the flour, the baking powder, the salt and the paprika
3. In another bowl combine the egg, the milk and the pepper and beat until well mixed
4. Dip onion rings into the breading
5. Prepare batter: add the breading to the bowl where you have combined milk, egg and pepper.
6. Dip onion rings into the batter and fry them.
